My buddy came over and with no knowledge of rep watches, looked at a few pics on this forum and started shaving the crown guards on the Trusty sub that I sold him.

Please let us know if we should keep trimming and if we are on the right track..or if this is enough and that the CG's are complete. Thanks!

I wouldn't go any further. Basically, I think you're there. A smaller crown would be next on the agenda. But that's a whole nother lesson. I actually think a Rolex crown is smaller than the noob crown in width, as well as height, so I'd leave it like it is.

DONT shave off anything else until the correct crown is installed. I give you credit for getting them even. Can we see a profile shot to see what it looks like.

I will have to wait until the next time that my friend comes over. I'll post side pics when that happens.
