freddy333 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 The best advice is to learn what the gens look like before you do anything. Collect as many gen pics as you can & then decide how much you want to spend on a rep. $150? $300? $600? $2,500+? Then research the available rep & franken options & compare to the gens to see which rep or franken's inaccuracies bother you the least.
Virgil Hilts Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 I've got The Zigmeister working on three right now - A VJ72 Franken, a VJ23 Franken and a DW. I'll probably be selling either the VJ23 or the DW when I get 'em back. Check with me in a month or so, after you do some more research.
fakemaster Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Go with the Lemania handwind. You will be much happier in the end.

I would agree,,,I just suggested this to a friend who got it and was very happy with it. The reason I suggested this one is that the movement seems to have a much better history than the Asian 7750, so unless you want to do upgrades or mods this seemed like the best way to go.
