dalayclass Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 After two weeks of good working without any problem and keeping perfect time, I have had the bad surprise when putting on my wrist my AP ROO that it stopped during the night, I gave something like 50 turns to the crown to make it start back but nothing even when shaking it. Is there an easy fix to do? Is the movement that bad??? I have tried to join Angus but maybe he is on holidays. I hope I can send it back to him. Is there a good watch repairer who can service perfectly that watch?
thomasng Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 My goodness. Mine has stopped this morning too.
dalayclass Posted August 1, 2008 Author Report Posted August 1, 2008 That's an epidemic... Who did you buy it from?
Samurai Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 OMG...am shitting bricks now. Mine has been with me for over a week....seems like the rep gods installed a time bomb in the movement.
sander Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 I brought mine to a local watchmaker and he was able to start it again. Unfortunately it stopped again after 24 hours and now its completely dead. I had so send mine back to Angus but for some reason, I

dadog13 Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 OMG...am shitting bricks now ...funny comment! I hope you guys manage to resurrect them!

Guest carlsbadrolex Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 I have one dead one and one that is running fine.
tutima Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 Wow...not good news... Maybe somebody should set up a poll to survey how bad the situation is...
OiRogers Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 Even without a poll.... a quick read-through has put this watch firmly in the "hold off" category for me. I'm well aware that those that have functioning watches that they are happy with have no incentive to post and may be the majority of owners of this piece... but I'm still a bit put off by the alarmingly large number of members that have had issues.
dvn Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 Mine just came back from repair from King and it has been running very well for the past 10 hours. I have the feeling that it is not the movement issue but rather the QC issue.
dalayclass Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Posted August 4, 2008 Angus told me I could send it back for repairing... Cool from him and hope that will work...
