crazy4iwc
Hi, I have a new sealed ETA 7750 movement laying around and I have decided to embark on a project to drop it into something, broach the hands, lume, AR, etc... I have narrowed my choice to the following A7750 watches and I wanted to here your thought as to what watch you might choose if it were your project and WHY. Of course some have great AR out of the box so that expense can be spared but that won't be a deciding factor. Here are the watches I have narrowed it do which I think are all really nice out of the box and there are no others that are repped A7750's that I really care for other that these that have closed casebacks: IWC 3717 IWC Cousteau Diver 06' Panerai Ferrari 8 Chrono Breitling Avenger Skyland Thank you and if you would quantify your answers with reasons why I would really appreciate it. Pugwash
IWC 3717 Because it's simplicity and class. It'll date slower than the other watches and therefore deserves a long-lasting movement more.

scoobs1971
We all seem to agree on the 3717
jjfesq
I'd go Fer 008 b/c its closest to gen.
Chino
3717, it's design will outlast every other of the mentioned watches. Besides it'll work in different ocasions better than the others.
Stephane
3717 No doubt at all !!!
z3k0
I would go with 3717 (well, actually I did do it myself ). Ferrari 0008 is nice, but plain 7750 will not fit in, you need to modify it to make it bi-compax layout - and that is not easy thing to do. regards
vlydog
3717 without hesitation.

jmt
I'd go Fer 008 b/c its closest to gen. I don't know about that... the 3717 is very close to the gen, and to me that one wins hands down. It's a classic. And it's beautiful.
ratchpot
I would go for the 3717 (for the reasons stated above), although I'd be careful about which version you get. Apparently the current reps aren't as good as the ones that EL was selling when it first came out in early 2007. I have one from EL and it's superb.
