I tried with a spring bar tool but so far no luck. I noticed tiny holes in the end-piece on both sides. Is this the key? Many thanks. Vlydog Springbars are the only way to get the end links off - if the end links were fitted to a very tight tolerance - it could be the reason why it wont budge Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
triplehd Posted August 16, 2008 Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 Jsut received mine yesterday. Yep, it was a b*tch to remove the spring bars. Since I didnt have any luck with my spring bar tool, I used a tiny screwdriver to remove the spring bar. Once removed - endlinks were removed too. Good Luck. Maybe size matters after all? Where did you insert you small tool? Did you place it between the lug and the end-link or in the small hole on the underside of the end-link?
