fotoman Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 thats AWEFUL - how did he die? heart attack? wow - you know i'm 34 - i'm getting to that age where mysteriously people die of random heart attacks also, been looking at new advances in projecting life expectancy - it is very possible that within the next 40-50 years, we will be able to live, for several hundred years. - Except for things like this - there have been advances in working with genes that turn off the aging of individual cells. - very interesting stuff. personally i dont' want to live for 200 yrs - at least if they can't fix all the other genetic issues i got going on. we are on the cusp of the next step in evolution - genetic manipulation. and the merging of the organic and the mechanic tis interesting.
