LordRasta Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Still a hot watch for me also. I could never figure out why it would stop when on my winder though. I had a new ETA7750 laying about so it and the watch went to Canada for some transplant surgery. It should keep time on the winder now I guess.
By-Tor Posted August 23, 2008 Author Report Posted August 23, 2008 That's a beauty LR! When I received my Aquaracer it only had about 17 hours power reserve. Now, after one year of use it has exceeded 24 hours. Weird indeed. As a timekeeper it's superb, extremely accurate... I'd guess COSC standards. So I doubt there's anything wrong with it, despite the lowish PR. Perhaps the PR has something to do with the day/date change (which probably requires more PR)?
LordRasta Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Not sure but I always get compliments when I wear it. I went to an engagement party a few weeks ago and 3 guys other than myself had on a Aquaracer. Two of them are active NFL players. They love theirs and no I didn't fess up.

juicy Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 This is still my favorite watch right now gen or rep. I have a hard time deciding which I like better....the blue dial w/ ss or the black and rubber. HOT HOT HOT!

A few weeks ago I was at a cocktail party and my good friend Frank Sinatra expressed his appreciation for the Aquaracer as well.
LordRasta Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Very true! A few weeks ago I was at a cocktail party and my good friend Frank Sinatra expressed his appreciation for the Aquaracer as well. LOL! My niece's soon to be husband plays for the Arizona Cardinals. After seeing my Aquaracer, I went with her to a AD and she got him a gen as an engagement gift. They're great kids and will have a great life together.
Fidestro Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Very true! A few weeks ago I was at a cocktail party and my good friend Frank Sinatra expressed his appreciation for the Aquaracer as well. Thats funny, I was at a party the other day and Frank Sinatra beat the [censored] out of me for not wearing my Oris Frank Sinatra model (yes, I have one).
robertk Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 By-Tor, I don't care what everyone says, I think it's a beauty!
Chino Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 and I gotta get me a blue one. + the panda ebel... I live on my wishlist.
Toadtorrent Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I just tried on the gen at the AD a few days ago...very nice watch.
capice Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Another one BT "pushed" me to buy;) ...I got myself a blackeyed version
dkaoboy Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I just got mine a week ago. I was very impressed with the day/date wheel alignment. I was expecting something crooked from the past reports; maybe they fixed it? Anyways, the links were a pain to get off. By far the hardest watch to resize.
