jdavis
I have a genuine Rolex crown that the threaded section that connects to the stem is free wheeling. Is there any way to disassemble the crown to replace the interior parts? I have several rep crowns that appear to have the same interior parts and could use them as donors if it could be done. Or, should I toss this one out and buy another.
ubiquitous
Might be easier to just grab another. If I had a spare, I'd simply send you one (unfortunately, I'm out).

jdavis
That is most kind of you to offer, Ubi. The crown is a 24-503-8 for a lady's Datejust which might take a bit of effort to locate.
freddy333
That is most kind of you to offer, Ubi. The crown is a 24-503-8 for a lady's Datejust which might take a bit of effort to locate. You can often find these on ebay. I recently bought 1 for $25 for a customer's watch. There is not alot of demand, at least within collectors' circles, for ladys' Rolex parts, so prices are still quite reasonable. Because Rolex sells more lady's Datejusts (according to many sources, this is their most popular watch model) than any other model, there are lots of parts to be had on the surplus market.
