ChipWrecked Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Just back from servicing is a 1954 Seamaster Calendar. Gold cap over SS. cal. 355 automatic bumper movement running like new. Bought on the bay for $209 last month. I purchased the bracelet previously, and I think it works well. The signed crown may not be correct tho. Looking at the Omega vintage museum picture, it may be a four leaf crown. I have sourced one if it is correct. Anyone know, and whaddaya think? ...and the obligatory wrist shot.
fitmic Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Looks really nice. I don't know anything about vintage Omegas though.

takashi Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 It's a good price when in working condition; it's not gold but the plating really can last.
P4GTR Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Congrats man! The PC i'm at is behind a proxy server so it's blocking your pics but I look forward to checking them out later. Was going through my late grandparents jewlery with my father semi-recently. The family failed to notice what smacked me in the face immediately, and is now mine. (please forgive the temp strap)
Fireman_Fred Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 @ChipWrecked: That's a nice looking watch and the bracelet really compliments it - wear it well
