stilty
I found this child's size Eames style rocker today! I couldn't resist and had to buy it for my daughter. I'm not too hot on the color, but I still think it is pretty cool! My daughter isn't too keen on it yet, but the dog sure likes it! He hopped in right away. I'm a bit of a sucker for chairs, and have a nice Herman Miller Aeron that I use at the bench! The most comfortable office chair around! One day I'll have to get the Lounge Chair. Guest carlsbadrolex
I am an arts and crafts furniture guy... I have two original Gustav Stickley chairs and a corner table. The MOD chairs are really cool also! Nice find, Im sure your daughter will warm up to it (if the dog allows her to!) T

But now that we have two under two (kids) we are finding Ikea is now the way to go. Cheap disposable furniture for them to grow out of.

llsteve80
i restored a beautiful art deco bedroom set, did a crackle varnish thing to make it look older, like it was, but still visually pleasing. Spent so many hours on it. Then my craphead brother took it before I found a new apartment, and I never saw it again. I never took pics of it, so all I have is memory. Great mahogany which i sanded down and restored, seriously took me a month and that kid ruined it in 2 weeks........

peterw2
It's great to meet fellow members with a taste for modern furniture! My wife and I have a couple of Eames storage units, a Saarinen Womb Chair in a vintage Knoll red wool (vintage style reissue) and for our dining chairs, the classic Jacobsen bent wood chairs. Would love to hear what other members have, Mies Barcelona? Corbu? George Nelson? Nakashima?
