www_watch
Hi there my friends! I´m really interested in getting one of these nice Planet Ocean reps that are offered everywhere. I was looking at the smaller one first, but the common known problem with the positioning of the Omega logo is a "no go" for me. Getting more and more comfortable with my 111 i thought: "Hey... let´s go with the big one instead!" TTK, Paul, Trusty.... everyone has it. I don´t care about the bracelet being to small (22 vs. 20mm) or the bezel that is not spot on. But what about the date font? It seems to be really wrong. I never heard anyone complaining about it. No one would accept it on a Sub, Breitling or sth. like that. On the smaller version it is correct or at least really close. Does anyone offer the 45mm with the correct date wheel? I think this is a very noticeable flaw..... What do you think?
Guest TTK
It seems to be really wrong. Really......? Well....guess you'll just have to wait for 6th generation......!
www_watch
Well....guess you'll just have to wait for 6th generation......! Here´s the 45mm that PT was advertising some time ago: (I hope he doesn´t mind me using the pic...) Looks like the font was better on this one. It also had a bigger crown. But then again the case back wasn´t that good...... Seems like you can´t have it all in one.

ToothDoc
The font on the 45mm is really jacked up. The numbers are kinda screwy. This is the only thing that bothers me on the PO. If someone decided to change the datewheel, how would he go about doing that.Anyone with experience on this one, and would a genuine date wheel fit into the rep? any help would be appreciated on this topic. r11co
would a genuine date wheel fit into the rep? any help would be appreciated on this topic. Yes, it would, if you could get hold of one.... I am starting to think that there would be a MASSIVE market in vinyl stick-on datewheel overlays for our reps.
www_watch
Why don´t they simply take the same datewheel like in the smaller version? Where´s the problem?
