Boutique Officine Panerai in Florence, worth a trip?

Hi all,

going on a Mediterranean cruise next week with a stop planned in Florence. I would love to show off my gen 104 at the Boutique Officine Panerai, but the wife might feel we are losing valuable visiting time. Is the stop at the Boutique really worth it even if it means to have to endure the bad mood of the wife for the rest of the day (or cruise?) or is it just like any other jewellery?

I wouldnt make a huge detour to just go to the boutique, I stayed in Florence for 3 days which was the only reason why I made time to go see it. I don't see why your wife would be upset, the city is beautiful and everything is just great to look at. There is also a nice museum right in the area you could just drop her off there while you take a quick look around the store.

I would check it out. The boutique is right next to Duomo so there will be plenty of other things to see while you are there. The walk from the boutique to the Ponte Vecchio is full of watch shops worth checking out as well.

If you only want to see the Panerai shop i would not do it if you would combine it with a city tour then do it!
