millemiglia
Hello Pam Experts! Sometimes ago I bought a RoseGold PamFerr GT from Precious, and since it got a lot of use some parts were quite worn out. I bought replacement parts now one of which is the engraved case back. It is basically a golden dodecagon: I have to remove it in order to replace it but, since the reason for changing it is the worn gold coating, scratching it would defeat the purpose wouldnt'it? (specially considering the thin layer of gold present). What kind of tool should I use? Please hel me out!
kronos twin
I'm no expert on this, but you might want to try to use putty between this and a lug wrench case opener. Also, if I recall, there are rubber caseback openers available that can also do the job with a little elbow grease. I yield to more talented experts on this site though. kt

millemiglia
You mean you wear neoprene gloves and open the case with your hands (without a tool)?
