SFSO or SOSF?

I thought it was SFSO but now I think it's SOSF considering the Heritage is part of the Super Ocean line, leading me to believe that SO would denote the "Parental" group and SteelFish the "Child"

Super Ocean --> Heritage

Super Ocean --> Steelfish

E.g.

IWC Big Pilot 5004 = IWC BP5004 (if one were to abbreviate the last names)

Breitling Superocean Steelfish = SOSF

The Superocean is one model from the line of the Aeromarine series. The Steelfish is a line of the Superocean. Therefore it is the Superocean Steelfish (SOSF)

I think we have thrashed this one to death !! - The correct terminology/abbreviation is SOSF.

...now can we move on ...... :huh:

I thought it was just called the Fish? ;)

SOSF is more accurate as described above with Family first, then Genus...the year/version is the Species

Kingdom - Phylum - Class - Order - Family - Genera - Species

=

Replica/Genuine - Automatic - Breitling - Aeromarine - Superocean - Steelfish - 2008/2007/Asian/Swiss...etc

:)

Unfortunately, SFSO sounds better than SOSF
