asiparks Posted October 22, 2008 Author Report Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) yup what he said ^^^^ here's my thread on Ruby Vs Angus Cousteaus...his is a Ruby's...same serial, same greyer subdials with more obvious ring pattern, tall dashes instead of dots on the bezel, rounded day/date font..... I have that same box, warranty credit card and the book that explains the warranty from Angus for about $40...the bit that's missing is the watch specific instructions...and the correct large presentation box and the hardbacked Cousteau photo book that you'd expect with the gen... the sticker on the outside of the white box ( wrong size and placement, but if you have a label maker, why not ) and the dealer name show that someone's put a bit of extra love into this deception...I emailed the seller politely asking if they were aware,but no reply and the auction is still up ...
