World Traveller Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I was in the AD the other day checking out the designs and I noticed the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Day Date Chronometer has a redesigned dial and completely new rehaut as well as a new set of chronograph counters. It now has Calibre 16 printed on the dial. Check it out.
By-Tor Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Looks too busy. I prefer the old, simpler version. Maybe this has a transparent glass caseback too (a'la Link Chrono)? Hmm... maybe not anyway, as Aquaracer is a diver chrono.
Shundi Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I loved my Aquaracer... K222 AR, took the paint off the caseback, and it had an ETA datewheel to boot!!....damn, shouldn't have let that get away...was perfectly modded I agree with BT- way too busy and if these have a transparent caseback then it'll be that much easier to spot the rep...
By-Tor Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I will never sell mine. What an amazing watch/rep.
Shundi Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I had the black but that blue is beautiful
World Traveller Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 Nice shot of yours By-Tor. In person the new one looks pretty good, the details on the inner timers are nice, especially on the grey one.
Toadtorrent Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 The new one may look busier...but it adds Tach functions...how cool is that??
deemaster Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 WOW... I really like it! Many things to appreciate... especially the Chronometer certification, I'm really glad Tag is focusing on that. Bigger subdials... "Swiss Made" placement. Definitely an upgrade...
fakemaster Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 They've introduced a couple new AR models too.
