tudor Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I just won the bid for the following Watch, the seller told me the watch is genuine and come with original paper and box. Could you guys give some comment and help me verify it. The Seller is new and I'm also a newbie in this, your help is appreciated .Thank you Ebay listing
deemaster Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I'd toss a coin and say it's a gen... that watch isn't really rep'ed... at least that I know of. Looks nice...
adrenalin Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Ask for a movement photo... looks pretty decent to me Good luck! -K
jmt Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Yep. Get a shot of the mvmnt, but it looks gen from the shots.
maulermacall@hotmail.com Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Zero rated seller in Thailand selling a watch thats very cheap......looks suspect
tudor Posted November 2, 2008 Author Report Posted November 2, 2008 Thanks a lot for all your comment, I'm keeping my finger XX
USMC8404 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I just had a similar experience purchasing a watch on Ebay. Check my profile for the post if you are interested. The watch in the picture looks Gen to me, but unfortunately, you won't know for sure until it arrives. Think of it this way. Most higher quality reps are in the $400 range. So, either way you are ok. My only real concerns are that you are buying from a seller with "0" feedback and the watch is under priced by about $1200. Good luck and keep us posted.
Shundi Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Fitting topic considering your screen name Hope all goes well...looks beautiful irregardless and $400 for a good Tudor rep isn't terrible...if in fact it's a rep (I think it looks good but I wouldn't know my ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to Tudors).
giorgio Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) This one is $60 plus shipping: I might have to pick one up! Hope yours is the real deal though. Good luck! Edited November 2, 2008 by giorgio
