Skyland Re-Sales

The Skyland seemed to be one of the best selling Breitling models I have seen on the boards.

Is it just me or are there a large number of these showing up in the Sales section lately?

Why are people selling them off? Too Big?

It's big but I love it...

I think it's more to do with the fact that everyone jumped on the version one rep and then they updated this with the version 2 and now the version 3 ( updated version 1 with better lume dots). I just think that people are updating from the ver1 to the later versions.

I simply think it's because so many were sold that there's bound to be quite a few sold off.

Too big and cumbersome on the wrist for me. Plus the lume dot at 4 was a little irritating on V2.

I preferred the SOSF.

People weren't prepared for the size. It makes the evolution seem small. I wear it daily

Poor lume killed it for me. And I figure I'll get the Deep Sea when the good one comes out, so the Sky was redundant.

Rumors has that the Ver.2 Skylands are having problems with their A7750 movements. There is a 20% chance that your recently bought Skyland will die or stop ticking any day now. There is a long thread on RWI about this. Perhaps that's why people are dumping them?
