Timepiece Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Hi, I would like to start my collection with 3 reps of the same brand (O...). I was thinking of placing 1 order for all 3. Anybody want to share experiences (and/or prevent me from disaster)?
fitmic Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I've been thinking the same. You mean spliting and sending the watches i 3 separate packages? Statistic wise you are 3 times more likely to get a watch seized by customs, instead of sending 3 watches in one package. If that package gets seized there is a hell of a lot money going down the drain.

hk45ca Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Obvious question: Are you the only RWG trusted dealer shipping w/i the EU?lost my first order of 4 because they were shipped 2 in each package. almost 1300.00 because they didn't ship 1 at a time. you would have thought they would have known better than to ship 2 in the same package.

But 'one swallow does not a summer make' ! well I've just told him about my experience of placing a multi order.... for sure it is better to get one watch per order...because you want save a lot of money on multiple order as much as you can loose if they get taken by the customs...

Guest overboosted Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I would not fear it if the dealer gaurentees it as most do. He will know the best way to get the watches to you. that is what they do. I have had multiple watch orders a few times and never a problem yet.
TJGladeRaider Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Hi, I would like to start my collection with 3 reps of the same brand (O...). I was thinking of placing 1 order for all 3. Anybody want to share experiences (and/or prevent me from disaster)? I'm in the US and I always buy several at a time. Three different Rolexes would be a lot less suspicious to Customs than three identical watches - that looks like a dealer as opposed to a collector. Bill
JosePR Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 i had 4 watches shipped by silix. All of them arrived in one package, even tho they were low end reps, not so much harm done if seized
