And grey market or used is fine for these - although I did buy mine new. The bottom line is simple little 2892 based gens like these and in any big brand really is never going back to the factory to get fixed if anything goes wrong anyway. No need to buy from an AD unless you can get a good discount via that route IMO. It isn't going to break within the warranty period. I promise you that. And even if it did, most any qualified watchmaker will be easilt able to diagnose and fix the problem. Now if it were a complicated in house movement from say VC? That is another story...
