swemoose
Check out the link and look at the "Classic Sea Dweller 16600. The HE valve looks to be as it should, but what flaws can you guys find? I'm not very good with spotting Rolex flaws so any help would be great. By-Tor
Looks like good old "TW Classic" SeaDweller. Far from "perfect" but probably still the best one there is.

Thanks, Moose http://www.watchmaker9.tv/wallpaper/rolex_...eller_16600.htm Looks like Trusty's 2005 edition http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...f88e479103e788d ...but much more expensive... is it the same product? Also, check the Explorer II they sell for "VIP" customers...the rim of the hour markers are silver (SS) rather than black...same version PT and others are offering...I could be wrong...unless a frankenwatch the high end versions are the same (the difference is the price you pay for the same product) Salud friends! Thanks, Moose http://www.watchmaker9.tv/wallpaper/rolex_...eller_16600.htm I don't want to be a party pooper but the 'references' they provide take you to GOREPLICAS...a known scam site with SWISS MADE replicas, GRADE 1 SWISS replicas...etc... I have to grant it to you: the pieces look nice! however... Caveat Emptor (or Empty walleat) Cheers Alex

Alextor
@Alex That "white" Sea Dweller is an MBW with some additional work. Ain't she a beauty? Ubi has promised to send it to me upon his eventual departure from This Earthly Coil (right, Randy???) I can dream, can't I? I have a MBW "red" Sea Dweller that in comparison side by side to a genuine actually looks, in some ways, better than gen. Weird, eh? Keep your eyes open, MBWs come up for sale here once in awhile. Nanuq, Life is half dreams...half hope. Don't lose any! Thank you for the tip! I'll stay alert...in the meantime my quest for a submariner in NYC is still failing! Tourneau (3 locations) has a 10-12 week waiting period (1/3 of a pregnancy) for a SS Sub with date. Wempe 3 months...only one has a Sea Dweller... And I can't get myself to buy from a non-authorized internet dealer. According to Tourneau, if you buy a watch from a non-authorized dealer, Rolex will NOT service the watch! Sounds odd but I'll call Rolex directly tomorrow morning and find what the deal is... BTW, the new SS oyster solid bracelets on the Datejust watches feel incredible: heavy, sturdy and beautifully finished. Apparently the sports series are going to have the same bracelets starting 2007 (non official...an AD assumption) Man! this watches Cheers Alex Edited July 20, 2006 by Alextor
