BGU1 Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) Since the 4th gen 42mm is no longer made I was looking on cqout for one. I found one from the seller jiuli9. I was wondering if this seller is legit or just another scam like some ebay watches. Link is below. There is also somebody called executivewatches, anybody know anything about them? http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=4375800 Edited November 30, 2008 by BGU1
RobbieG Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Keep in mind that now that the 42MM is featured in the hottest movie there may be a chance some factory makes a 1:1 version now in that size. They specifically did the UPO version in the 45.5MM because of Casino Royal so stranger things have happen. Someone might want to lob a email to their favorite dealer and see if there are any factory rumblings...

TeeJay Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 They did? I would've thought it was a pretty safe bet. To be honest, other than Casino Royale and Top Gear, I don't recall any other 'mass media' displaying the Planet Ocean. I mean, sure, it's a nice watch and all, but as far as the factories would be concerned, I would have thought that only the most popular watches would be ones which would get 'upgraded' versions, and Casino Royale is the only thing I can think of which would really generate any interest in the 45mm Planet Ocean among the watch-wearing masses worthy of putting it in 'upgrade' class. Just my own thoughts though, it'd certainly be interesting to find out for sure
