I know a lot of people use a knife,,,,and this does work most of the time depending on how hard the bezel is to remove. However, I just slipped trying to remove the bezel on my gen omega seamaster and put a nice little scratch on it. I'm going to put out the cash and pick up a decent tool for this as I believe using a knife is too unpredictable.

if you use a knife,,,there is a chance you might scratch the case and it could be too deep to remove. IMO.

You don't need pictures, only turn the bezel to the left by pulling it, it should come out without risk to bend it like on the instructions with a knife or else. And maybe you have to try it a few times 'till the spring is on the right position. So don't give up after the first turn...

I normally use an old , or my wifes , creditcard.

I never had to use anything else the plastic moeny did the job
