The easiest way is starting the cronograph and counting the ticks of the second hand between two minute markers. Three ticks = 21600; four ticks= 28800.

To such an intent, a non-adjustable hand makes sense. It isn't a GMT hand

When I was a little boy I would build plastic models (planes, cars). Once I built a Lockeed F-104 Starfighter, 1:32 scale, that included the engine too. The kit included some decals to be applied on the shock absorbers, hidden inside the body. A reproduction is a reproduction; and the accuracy isn't questionable. If someone wanted to cheat, could he count on the markers between the lugs? As you say, they cannot be seen; so how could he count on them? The only idea that occurs to me is a 0.08 E guitar string. But you need to know the exact size of the spring in order to cut a correct size piece, and the exact angle to bend it. Hope it helps...

I asked PT about the possibility of exchanging the inner part of the deployment of the GMTIIc bracelet, due to the bad engraving, for the DSSD one. PT replied that it's impossible because the size is different. If so, it probably applies to other bracelets too. Maybe you should change the whole bracelet

The bracelet needs sanding and oiling; this will markedly improve its feel. Here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=86133 there is a tutorial about filiing the edges (just in case you didn't already know it). I used a simple sheet of fine-grained (800 grit) sandpaper, then I re-polished the midlinks. For oiling the bracelet, if you can bear the ironical smiles of the druggist, vaseline is IMHO the best solution, since it's colourless, odourless and viscous. The bracelet won't need an aggressive washing after the soak, and the effect will last longer. Anyway, the bracelet cannot exactly feel as a gen because in the gen bracelet there are bushings interposed between the link housing and the pin. It seems that the WM9 YM bracelet is crafted in this way As regards the AR treatment on the loupe, I think that there is no solution; read this: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=88304 The engraving on the clasp can be coloured, but since the grooves aren't clean or deep, the result won't be satisfying; this: is the best result I have achieved. The engraving on the clasp od the DSSD is by far better than this; I asked PT for a DSSD as spare part, and he replied that the size is different. The colour of the numbers on the bezel is no concern of the "Ultimate" version, in my opinion; it can be an issue regarding the "sandiwich" bezel insert. On the PT website there is a comparative picture, and the bezels look quite similar. Hope it helps

When I wear a watch, no matter if it's a rep or a gen, and someone notices it and compliments me on it, I say that it's a rep before he/she asks about; this is whether I'm wearing a rep or a gen. Usually, people think I'm lying, guessing that my watch surely is a gen, and I'm trying to foolish them. If I'm wearing a gen they guess right Well, I know that it's a tortuous way to treat the question...

This is another much-debated question. George usually behaves in a kind and polite way. Maybe he not always tells the truth, but the behaviour is often impeccable.
