kenneth2 Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 on a gen rolex sub are the single digit numbers on the date wheel off center to the left when viewed in the dials date window?
freddy333 Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Without seeing a good, clear picture that illustrates how far off-center the number it is, it is hard to answer. But, in general, if the watch is new, the dates should all be centered. If they are not, I would return the watch to the AD & have them fix it. However, with vintage watches, where the datewheel may have been replaced, it is possible. Still, without a picture, hard to say.
Master Chief Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 of course date-font of GEN is centralized position. I think George will fix this problem.
stilty Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 yes, a few numbers are slightly left. I noticed this after spending hours trying to fix the alignment on a few frankens. It is just the way it is.
lazarini Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 on my 2 gens the EXP II and the SD the single digit numbers are spot on centered... Laz
kenneth2 Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 thanks for the replys, looks like there is no cleat cut answer yet, but i dont see why a gen would be off center by design
