Pugwash
I too am jealous as I'm still using the stock Canon 18-55 backwards. Excellent photos, I can't wait to see more.
section8
Fantastic....which lens are you using mate? it's a tamron 90mm f2.8 on a nikon d70s with a speedlight SB-800. I should have shot the Targa Florio at a lower ISO but I forgot to change it from previous pictures i was taking. Thanks for the comments guys! If pugwash gives me a compliement, then I feel good about my pics!

section8
Took a few more pics today. The LV sub is a 'so called perfect' from Paul at Wo-mart (he even still around?) i got 2 years ago, still running like a top, but pretty banged up now as I use it as a beater watch lol Macro shots: if you want a full res let me know some of those are 100% crops. I'm actually pretty impressed with the dial printing on the LV Replica. The DRSD, not so much.

lanikai
I defiantely plan on learning from you S8 ... so the strobe flash looks like a better alternative to studio lighting.. I guess the only way is to get a upgraded flash and play with it.. thanks again.. I'm really looking forward to your pictorials now..
