Looks like you didn't need to put too much practice into using your new toy to turn out some fantastic photos!

+ 100 ... awesome colour and lighting.. a natural.. :)

haha thanks guys. Helps I just got a new flash too. I'll try doing some wrist shots with this lens tomorrow.

Fantastic....which lens are you using mate?

it's a tamron 90mm f2.8 on a nikon d70s with a speedlight SB-800. I should have shot the Targa Florio at a lower ISO but I forgot to change it from previous pictures i was taking.

Took a few more pics today. The LV sub is a 'so called perfect' from Paul at Wo-mart (he even still around?) i got 2 years ago, still running like a top, but pretty banged up now as I use it as a beater watch lol

I'm actually pretty impressed with the dial printing on the LV Replica. The DRSD, not so much.

I defiantely plan on learning from you S8 ... so the strobe flash looks like a better alternative to studio lighting.. I guess the only way is to get a upgraded flash and play with it..
