i have the same problem too.i have sent him a watch in first days of december and nothing yet.

after a lot of pm's that he has received from me he hasn't responded to any of them.

what the f@ck is going on?

Tom H will come back and eventually will reply to your PMs/mails.

But don't expect your watches to be back in less than 3 months

I've heard he has quite a backlog of work to be done ..... and on the other hand, two to three months to get a watch back it looks normal to me.

TomH is doing a great job (at least it did on mine) but is not the fastest around (though he is the only EU based that I am aware of).

Spoke to him today about a repair, so he is about. It must be difficult for him if you keep sending the same PM's/emails over and over, just be patient and he will get back to you ^_^

He is not swift or communicative, but the job gets done, did I mention patience? B)

i'm sure that you have mentioned patience but this is over it.

he should mention from the beginning how long would this journey take and how terrible the communication

would be...

Im waiting on a watch still too! He has replied to me though saying its finished so im hoping so have it back soon!

Had a SFSO repaired by around the middle of last year. Stem had become detached so simply a case of re-attaching to the movement (no spare parts required). The whole process took around 8 - 10 weeks and a ton of emails and PM's demanding the return of my watch.

Whilst the job was done (although the date does not change from the stem unless it is held at a certain angle) I was seriously unimpressed by the customer service aspects. It took an age from the point where he told me the watch was fixed to eventually posting it.

Personally I would not send another watch for repair. After reading this thread this has confirmed my belief.

To be fair I do not believe he there is any dishonesty involved. If there had been I would never have seen my watch again. More a case of disorganised and por communications.

Possibly I am doing him a dis-service but just my honest opinion.

Thus guy comes and goes...

Personally I would look elsewhere to get

your watches repaired...

Just my personal opinion...

Look elsewhere...
