ifly65 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 I was ready to pull the trigger on a DSSD with blue lume. Then I read about the problems with QC. Are there any other Rollie subs that have blue lume like the V3? How much does it cost to have one lumed? Who does a great blue lume?
blue_sphere Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 People who do lume. Vaccume, The Zigmeister, Everestwatchworks.com Rollies that have blue lume: DSSD Other rollies that have blue lume: none Telling a owner of a gen that you pitched in extra for a "special" lume. Priceless. See I did my good turn!
Shundi Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?act=Se...te=%2BBlue+lume That's the search thread had you done a search for "Blue Lume" http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...est+watch+works That comes up when searching "Relume"... and is just one example of someone who will do lume work.
jot9011 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 I think the Milgauss has both green and blue lume
BigSlickAK Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 The Blue lume at 3-6-9 lasts for about a half hour. Then it just blends into all green. Rolex lume is nothing to write home about. Not like Seiko Lumibrite.
hilts Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Not like Seiko Lumibrite. or Ball - so bright you need
blue_sphere Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 God isnt that the truth. Too bad ball doesnt do blue anymore. Now everything is ugly green. Im so sick of green lume.
Toadtorrent Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 God isnt that the truth. Too bad ball doesnt do blue anymore. Now everything is ugly green. Im so sick of green lume. Check this out: Blue Cousteau Lume
Shundi Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 It's interesting... my SMP glows a very deep green- almost turquoise when it's exposed to a high powered light source and then it quickly changes to a bright green
