I've sold about 14 watches so far and shipped all over the world and about 5 to Canada and the last one haven't shown up yet at one of our member's address!

It was payed via PP and I shipped it using PP via USPS Priority Mail on Dec. 22 '08 and.....nothing! Tracking said it was picked up for delivery, but nothing else!

I called them today and all I got from there CS is.... "no further information!" Nobody recieved it or if Canadian Customs is holding it! The poor member have been

waiting for it since, and I feel so bad for him because this is his first REP........I think!

Canadian Brothers, any Idea????

BTW: It was shipped to Moncton New Brunswick!

Thanks! Hike

Picked up for delivery generally means it was loaded in the truck and was heading out. If it was supposed to be signed for or if duties/fees need to be collected they will attempt delivery...and if a living body doesn't answer the door with their "light tap"...it will go either to their local postal pickup spot and they will SNAIL MAIL out a delivery notice that a package has arrived and a failed delivery attempt had occurred...OR, they will leave a post-it pickup notice...which cannot be used without appropriate government photo ID with the delivery address on it.

Usually registered airmail or the flat rate envelopes just get left at my door...but occasionally it takes a few extra days once an attempted delivery has occurred.

I've never had a problem yet...just received one from California with the backlog from Christmas, it took quite awhile to get here...like 2 weeks or so...as opposed to the usual 3 days...so this is on the upper ends of the time...that's from California to Ontario...NB is a little ways West so usually takes 2 days by express type mail to The Zigmeister...so add that to the total for about 2-3 weeks.

Did anything show on the tracking that it had cleared customs or was the pickup for delivery on the USPS site? It's possible that you can use the USPS tracking number on the Canada Post site once in the country. It works with EMS from China...not sure about USPS Express.

My personal experience was just the opposite... Member sent a watch from Canada on Nov. 26 via priority Canada Post. Same story, got a tracking number and nothing else.... It finaly got to me on January 3rd. I have no idea WTF is up with the postal system, but your not alone. Must be the new homeland security system...

Hope it shows up soon...

I think the problem is Canada post, similar problem here waiting on a package also. I think there had been a strike or something, so maybe there is a bit of a backlog they are getting through.

That's brutal. Man...wow..super slow!!

No strike that I've heard of it. They're unionized and federal agents so if they go on strike...it affects the whole nation. Customs clearance can be slow but from Nov. to Jan...WOW!!
