Well...not quite. Usually reps with the SAME movement (i.e. a SWISS Valjoux 7750 vs. Asian A7750) cost about $800+. From the collectors/dealers they often cost more.

The Hamilton is a good value rep with a guaranteed Swiss 7750. The ETA 7750 movement alone goes for $450+ CDN depending on quantity and source.

I've purchased two lightly used Hamilton Khaki GMTs, with nicely finished Swiss ETA 2893 movements, for less than $300 each. Difficult to do with any other watch brand, and impossible with reps.
