GTG Erfurt...a Panerai Day

I recognise some of those dials! Amazing table of watches / movements. What's the watch on the left with the Rolex (?) movement? The bridge shape is different to a Cortebert - what is it?! Great looking Rolex '618' movement, too - definetly my next project.

Interested in that too?

I hope you all had a great time, shame work stopped me attending.

Erfurt is the center of the world when it comes to vintage Panerai's..S work is really outstanding...he brought his creations to another level compared to the other stuff we see offered on all rep forums...his attention to details and immense love for the Vintage era of Panerai are not comparable to anybody...

once again I am still sad I couldn't attend this GTG but I will do my best to be present on the 3rd one (which I am sure it will be hosted again in Erfurt by the great hosts S&H!)

Incredible. I wondered how long it'd be before you got the lug welding perfected! I mistook the gen for a spec of dust amongst those huge vintage Pams - it's tiny! I'm curious now - but there are definetly some great watches there, would love to attend an Erfurt GTG (if only it were a little closer!).

cal 618 gives not(is fantasy for pam21)

the difference from 622 to vintage panerai or elinvar is the little bridge left from balance

thanks!

so the elinvar in your GTG picture, is it 618 or 622?

is the thickness/ height the same in both?

ok elinvar is not 618

618 is a inhouse sign from panerai for pam21 movt

the 622 is in watch left top(not a paneraidesign,is a rolex wristwatch)

so let me get this right and pls correct me if i am wrong.... :D

618 is "ONLY" used for the 21

and 622 for ALL the gen vintages

am i on the right path?

i am confused cuz all the info on the web refer to the gen vintage as the 618

pls help!

ok

618 only a sign for pam21

the vintage rolex movts give in 2 versions for the start in panerai

15 and 17 jewels and the base for this is a cortebert pocket watch movt

the vintage panerai movt is only for panerai modded from rolex and rolex have for this a base caliber from cortebert

and this base caliber come only for the rolex-panerais

the base caliber is a special work with 616,620,624 from cortebert

and not in another watches or pocketwatches

all another is fantasy and when another movts in vintage panerai is this replacement

the elinvars have smaller bridges and smaller tickness via vintage panerai-rolex

but gives vintages with elinvar but is replacement
