paulw Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 I have a UPO, the 45.5 size model and purchased all the gen parts I could. The watch and parts were sent to Ziggy for a service and installation and during servicing Ziggy confirmed that the movement was indeed a gen Swiss ETA but it was gummed up and about to stop working. This watch was brand new from the dealer. All has worked out well now that Ziggy has serviced the movement(runs to within +/- 1 sec/day) but the total bill for all the parts and servicing means that you could save up some more cash and buy a gen from TZ.
