I do have a watchsmith that I use in Dandenong Vic, I know he lumes but I have never seen his lume work so you would need to take a chance that it is good.

There is a specialist dial refinisher in Sydney...supposedly very good, but a bit $XXX'y

S'pose he would be doing lume work as well.

Clockermaker.com.au won't work on reps as far as I know, he only deals in gens, and does bits in his emails on reps occassionally. (About the evils of them, but hey, I'm here because I want to go to hell when I die )

You are probably right...and I suspect the others would be the same!

But never hurts to ask, especially by phone...that big bad angry man has problems squeezing down the phone line!

Whenever I had to find out if a shop would work on a rep...always a "probing " phone call first!

(The ftg guy is also an "old timer" so he may well dance to the same tune)
