freddy333 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 It looks like NDTrading is trying to get $1,500 for 1 of their aftermarket Sub dials
By-Tor Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 There's a sucker born every day. And there's a ROLEX sucker born every minute.
Stephane Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 That is why I stopped looking at these items... I much prefer a 600$ franken which is 90% accurate then a 3000$ one which is 93,333 % accurate. And, by the way, only a gen is 100% accurate if untouched by services...so what is the point? Our hobby should remain below the 1K for a franken. Just my 2 cents of course
fakemaster Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 There's a sucker born every day. And there's a ROLEX sucker born every minute. Yes about 1 million at 8k a pop per year. And, by the way, only a gen is 100% accurate if untouched by services...so what is the point? Yes I am still trying to comprehend Barrett Jackson.

I mean: you can get 90% accuracy for $600 so, if you spend $3000 for 93,333% accuracy, that last 3,333% will cost you $2.400 and nothing less. I think that
freddy333 Posted February 10, 2009 Author Report Posted February 10, 2009 And, overall, some of their other vintage Sub dials look better. But I will concede that this is 1 of the 1st aftermarket vintage Sub dials to get the O in ROLEX nearly correct (note the flattened inner sides).
Viennawatch Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 I just find it crazy at what lengths some of you guys will go to mod your watches... The most I spent on a watch inclusive of modding (ever) was roughly around 350 Euros, back in the days of Palpatine... (I wonder what ever happened to him by the way?) But hey, if you guys have got the money.... Lume for me is the only thing that I really need to afford, hehe. Regards, VW
