elisiX
Hi All.. Just popped my rcrscom baseball glove leather strap on my PAM250 which I bought early on in my rep collecting hobby from Simon (FGD). Modded by The Zigmeister this thing is the best of the best PAM250 7753 you can build today. I managed to snap a few quick shots this afternoon but I was running out of daylight so they're not the best. The shots are all close up of the dial as I was trying to determine what the AR is like to decide whether or not to send it off to Ajoe for his AR run. Should've grabbed a couple nicer shots but .. meh. I'm lazy.

siesta181
This is Godsend. Prayers answered.... I need guidance Master elisiX. I am building a 7753 powered PAM 250. I have the old thick case, I have lello DW and I have a 7753 movt. I I have been reading a lot about the dial problems for the 250 tat will not fit a 7753. Question: Which dial should I be looking out for? Cheers Siesta181

Supposedly the US market 250's came with the 'er', whilst europe was 're'. I read that on Paneristi I believe. Can anyone else confirm this? The crown is genuine Panerai Auto. This is Godsend. elisiX
Sorry you are right Sander. I got it mixed up. All I could remember for sure was that there are both versions out there. Here's a few old lume shots from when I first got the watch (and before I got my SLR and knew how to take pictures) Edited February 20, 2009 by elisiX
hooky
Sorry you are right Sander. I got it mixed up. All I could remember for sure was that there are both versions out there. Here's a few old lume shots from when I first got the watch (and before I got my SLR and knew how to take pictures) Great watch, nice work The Zigmeister has done. to make it realy superb, an AR job on the sapphire is really needed. To make The Zigmeister's work stand out even more. And to give it a 'true' gen feeling.
coolfire
Such a beauty... I'm almost lost for words, elisiX... Like what hooky has mentioned, getting a double ar on this would top this off superbly!
rower
I would like to ask you not to post any more pictures of this watch. I want it so bad that I am afraid I am breaking the 10th commandment...thou shall not covet!
sander
Thanks for the lume shot. It looks really great. (unfortunately now I have to do mine as well ) I totally agree you should go for the new AR. Mine has K2222 and it's really a big difference. The colour of the dial will change and also the edges of the subdials will be sharper. Go for it man, you won't regret it! Do you know if it's the standard GC or is it an other one? TK471
Utterly amazing. I've wanted this watch for almost the entire time I've been a member -- nearly three years now. I'd take either it or the 196, but I've never been able to find either for the right price, and modding them now is nearly impossible with the shortage of parts. Wear it well. It's a real beauty. elisiX
Sander afaik the CG is standard but modded by The Zigmeister. Its perfectly flush and the pin top is perfect also. I'll let you guys know if I ever decide to sell it... which prolly wont ever happen. lol

At least I could find a white dial 250 (=251) with the marking "Tachymetre" on Paneristi. So there is still hope..
