Just messing around with some different backgrounds and Photoshop editing techniques,I am still learning,

anyway what do you all think of these enhanced pictures?

Cool, too artificial? Please let me know so I can decide to continue to tweak or scrap this idea entirely.

I agree #4 and #5 are the best technically as the "brightness" of the images matches the background the best so they don't look "pasted on". The Hublot one is alright too...but doesn't really match what I think the chunkiness and angularity (if that's a word) demands.

Having fun with it is what it's all about.

Yeah I think the parrot is universally disliked!

I loved the photo of that bird that I took at a zoo and wanted to work it in somehow.

If anyone has any tips on how to blend in the layers without making the foreground layer transparent I would love to learn.

That seems to be my biggest challenge, like on #1,#2, #8, #9

I only have had Photoshop for a few weeks, so I encourage criticism :D

Layer masks and painted in with a low brush opacity (say 15-20%) and working slowly with an appropriately sized; yet soft brush.

I'm not big on composites, but I use layer masks all the time for my editing and before I had my Wacom (tablet) I used the above technique.
