hawaiian_robot
Hello all, Yet another Aussie saying hi to everyone on these boards. Been a member for a while (stumbled on this place after looking at Seamasters and regretting not having $4k to blow on one) and finally decided to stay a while and actually participate in discussions and whatnot. It's a great little corner of the internet you guys have, very information-dense, which is great and saves me asking the same sort of questions you guys have doubtless fielded thousands upon thousands of times. maxman
Good to see ya Hawaiian. I to arrived here with my sites on a gen Omega PO. The price tag is a little much atm. The thing is I dont think having the gen could be as exciting as buying a rep. To spend $4.000 on a watch, well naturaly it's going to be great. The dam thing cost 4 big ones. To get a watch that for all practical purposes looks the same, well this is even more impressive,Imo, when you consider the price difference. I mean "come on" were talking about pennies on the dollar here. Thanks for stoping by, Mike

People will assume that a gen is a rep anyway, so why not save yourself a few large and get the rep anyway? I'm sure you guys will be able to point me in the direction of a good automatic Omega rep for a good price. MasterOfPuppets, I'm sure the noob guide will be invaluable in doing so. Cheers guys!
