Well, I'm afraid you are in for a challenge.

First off, the Gen hands will not work on an ETA movement.

Second, you need to find a Rep Explorer II that was manufactured in 2006. This is the only one that had the correct dimensions to accept the Gen dial. I know, because I tried them all and ended up finding the old Trusty model in order to complete mine.

So the ones from Noob Factory will not work?

hmm, well, let me know if you are going to sell.

The noob factory expII can take a gen crystal, and the one dluddy speaks of can take a gen dial. My expII has a gen tube and crown, the rep tube will not take a gen on any. my chs movement came from a non noob expII. it needs new hands, as mine are not very good.

Here's By-Tors review of the white dialed ExpII:

Like dluddy says, it's the old Explorer II case from the noob factory. The newer cases are too big for the gen dial, as I recall. Really a shame, I'd love to have a white dial with the correct black surrounds and an eta wrong handstack.

Ok, well that is very bad news gentlemen

I still have a genuine black dial in my parts box and intended to build a franken.

I know hands wouldn't fit an Eta but I thought the dial would fit the Noob.

God, Concepta, it seems we're in the same bad boat :wounded1:

Unless a nice member would sell us 2 watches from 2006 :whistling:
