coliver18 Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 Nice to b back on RWG after a long abscence. I've had this 28A in a drawer disassembled for the better part of a year. I bought a gen right around the same time I got this back from having gen PVD applied, so I never felt rushed to get it up and running. Rolli supplied the PVD service (which included leaching the old fake PVD coloring off) and some additional parts. So big thanks to him! Before I purchased the 28, the previous owner had already had some significant mods done including the date wheel and cyclops. In addition to the PVD, I've since added a new crown and purchased a gen buckle, which rolli coated for me as well. I couldn't be more pleased with the way this piece turned out. I apologize for the crappy pictures, but I was so excited at how this turned out I wanted to share what I could. FYI, the crystal is actually in perfect condition, any blemishes are due to my impromptu photography. I'm going to dress it up with a nice Simona croc that I have lying around somewhere and then take some real pics to share later. In the meantime, please indulge me as I welcome my new baby into the family!
