ISO IWC Big Pilot Black Strap

F15DOC

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a Big Pilot black strap, with the buttons, not the crock strap.

Anyone lead me to a good rep strap for a reasonable price?

Wow, nobody here is willing to help a guy out?

The strap that came with it looked fine but it must have been poor quality because it tore all the way across where it connects to the watch....

given the value of the gen, there aren't a bunch of sources of "cheap" straps for the big pilot. your best options for aftermarket straps are hktan, strapluxe (although i wasn't very impressed with their brown calf strap) and frogman straps (here on RWG).

hope this helps :victory:

it's not overcast with clouds .. the lack of sunshine is due to the Volcanoe.. heavy VOG rolled in this morning due to "Kona Winds" .. southerly winds from the Big Island :(

That OEM brown strap looks like the one I have that tore.

How much is he asking for the black one? $140 is more than I paid for the rep (used), not looking to drop near that much on a strap....

That black is beautiful!

what you will find is that the cost of the rep watch and the cost of a good strap will not make any sense at first..

a lot of members actually invest in the genuine strap which is more than twice the cost of the rep. ;)

but what you may realize is that the strap "will' make the replication look great !!

it's like rims and tires on a car.. the "profile" is wicked..

here is a look at the OEM spec "distressed" buffalo for my 5002 from Aaron

the distressed buffalo is one of my favs..
