JoJo35 Posted May 15, 2009 Author Report Posted May 15, 2009 Nanuq, check VRF regarding this Ranger. It has already been called out as a fake JJ
dluddy Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 It sure is pretty though.....Even if there were no Red Rangers (As they say on VRF, remember - RED means Danger )
Nanuq Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 True, true... but it's still so pretty. Must have a Red Ranger. Yuki has a promising one on Fleabay but it's got a date and cyclops.

Kind of an expensive route to take, but you could get the Yuki watch and replace the dial & crystal. The crystal should be relatively easy to source (Clarks), but the dial, especially a red dial, would be difficult. I went through my Tudor archives in search of Rangers (with or without the red lettering), but could not find a single 1.
ken fingerlove Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Not a Rolex nor a rep, but while waiting for my DW this caught my eye on the bay, and I had a moment of madness. Looks like I need to pry the bezel off and give it a good clean under there. Really like it - I guess it's very similar to a Seiko diver - a nice size, seems to be keeping pretty good time. I suppose it was 1/10th the price of an equivalent Rolex. That's what I keep repeating to myself. Signed crown, but the back is plain (possible replacement, not sure, I don't know a lot about these)
