Who says a rep or franken CAN'T be waterproof?

Mine are all pressure tested/checked once a year, and are subjected to water on a daily basis...

Completely agree with what ubi has so concisely explained!

All it takes is a trip to your (rep-friendly) watchsmith to get it pressure-tested...after greasing all seals / o-rings, that is... Once that is done, you can play with all the water you want, with your reps on!

+ 2 to ubi and cool!!!! If I wanna take them to Water, they get the grease and pressure treatment!

I use my SSD and Sub for swimming all the time.

My SMP Chrono failed the pressure test even after greasing.

My Cousteau Diver passed, but had a potential leak problem because of loose fit chrono pushers (if they got depressed it would leak...but not pushed...ok...just be careful it doesn't get bumped).

Yes I asume you can waterproof your reps but you MUST send it to watchsmith,

As the guys said...

if u check ure watch and ure sure gaskets are lubed and in place plus back is screwed in correctly u shod be home dry... i do a vacuum check at a local watchmaker in the mall when i go pickup some groceries and that's that...
