Is there a Planet Ocean rubber strap for the XL 45mm model that does not collect dust? I have bought 2 from different sellers and they both attract every dust particle within a 2 mile radius.....most frustrating!!

Apply some Armorall rubber preservative to it, gives it a nice smooth coating, dust will not stick.

$68 for a replica rubber strap is way too expensive imo...

I used to own a company that manufactured rubber auto parts. My guess is that after the mold is made for a a couple of grand, the cost of a strap is less than a quarter. Add another quarter for the buckle probably.

$68 is highway robbery.

Narikka was selling the 42mm shipped for less than $30 delivered and it's an excellent quality strap that doesn't collect dust. Why should a 45mm one be so much more?6

Damn, that is crazy! Less than a quarter.. Well it was J&A who started selling them at this price and still do today, but then again, some are of the opinion its the factories who sets the price

I had my UPO ordered from PT with a rubber strap, and i can tell you (since i did compared it to a GEN strap) that i was absolutly unable to tell which one was real and which one was not (buckle included) ... that is also true for the dust repeller properties ... it stays absolutly imaculate! i have no idea how much it costs, but you can allways email him..he is a great guy and very helpfull

So 300 dlls for the original is a mega robbery or can I say Omega robbery,

I ordered a black rubber for the UPO and a leather one from puretime, 50 bucks each, oh well at least I got the watch and both the strap all in one $15 shipment.

I'll post some good picks when I get them.

Hmmm...I sold my Breitling Skyland on a rubber strap to fund my UPO purchase. I did like the rubber strap on that watch. Maybe I'll get a nice rubber strap for my UPO.

i bought a pre-owned gen rubber from someone on tz.

i doesn't actually look different but somehow it feels different on the wrist.

also the non-floating keeper on the rep strap doesn't stay in one place vs the gen strap which makes the rep strap a pain to take off and put on.
