PAM 183

Was wondering what is the strap width for 183, If I recall well it was 26mm but I'm not sure.

26/22 if I recall correct?

OEM is 27/22mm.

Very few strap makers do this correct size. Most do 26/22mm.

26/22 is OK but leaves a very small gap between strap edge and the curve of the lug wire.

HK Tan, Stone Creek and a few others will do made to measure straps (croc, gator, calf, other) to OEM dimensions.

Most others have 26/22mm product.

I'm picky, and prefer the 27/22 look....

True. More difficult to make and look proper. I have also made/worn 27/27 and 26/26 but I agree, the tapered looks better. Especially in Black Gator...

the 27/22 straps measure closer to 26.5mm if I recall correct. Not a true 27mm...

The 27/22 gives a much better look then the 26/22

And what do you think is it viable to put any 26/27mm strap on 183 since I am fond of the fat ones

I'd suggest having someone make one for you. Here's a nice piece of vintage croc that I had made (27 x 22).

Cost was much less than what it would cost from a manufacturer.
