Nanuq
First you start with one of these Then you add one of these Then toss in some parts from this guy... and presto! You've got this Or how about a Seiko Snowflake? Or how about a Seiko B&R?

Nanuq
...I wanted to ask if you could get up next to a bear.. just for a visul to compare the size of the fuzzy thing Here's one out at the airport, next to some tourist. Slartibartfast
Very attractive conversion. I have a Seiko SX009 just waiting for some attention. Can't think of a better way forward.
Nanuq
It should all be readily available, except for those hands. Compare those to the ones shown in the picture after it. Close but not quite right.
Slartibartfast
I see what you mean. Close but not quite. Some seem to have SMP hands......strange! I have seen many posts on another forum about modding Seikos, and there is a cult following for this alone. I can see why, there is so much choice, you can build a completely individual looking watch. Great fun!
Nanuq
I wonder how close the Seiko hand sizes are to ETA sizes? I believe Doxa parts are easier to get, and those might fit right onto the Seiko. I wrote Noah this morning about recreating a B&R Seiko... he's on vacation. Imagine that!!! How inconsiderate. unkindone
not gonna lie, if I were to own any gen diving watch, it would be a Doxa over anything.....man are they ever unappealing, but they sure get the job done!!
