swdivad Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 In the beginning of last month, a croc strap and deployant was purchased from me by a user. I sent it airmail as he did not want insurance. He has claimed that the package did not arrive and has filed a claim against me. Paypal is requesting proof of postage, I can not find it... What is the best way to handle this? PayPal is asking for proof of postage... Would they be asking him for proof that he did not receive the item? Thanks for any help.
Pugwash Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 Would they be asking him for proof that he did not receive the item? You have money. This they know, so they won't pursue him until you show them proof of postage.
www_watch Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 They won´t ask him.... You have to bring a proof of postage. That´s why I never agree on uninsured shipping when using PayPal. Sorry.
swdivad Posted August 10, 2006 Author Report Posted August 10, 2006 So are you saying I lose automaticaally if I can not find the receipt?
V Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 I hope at least David you didn't had any money to your account. You sold the strap here?

4fun Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 That's why I always use USPS with delivery confirmation service. You can always on-line check the delivery.
Pugwash Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 So are you saying I lose automaticaally if I can not find the receipt? Most likely, yes.
