You can find 14060M's for around $2500-$3000.

Dates for around $3000-$3500.

5513 around $3500-$4000.

1680's around $4500-$5000.

Tudor Subs are a bit different.

7928: $2000-$2500

7016: $2000

7021: $2500-$3000

9401: $2000-$2500

9411: $2200-$3000

76100: $1500-$2000

79090: $1500-$2000

79190: $1200-$2000

The 16610's pretty cheap. I saw one locally just a few days ago for 2.

Even if the seller had all the original paperwork, box, receipts etc, how can I verify that the watch they passing to me is the gen, that relates to all the paperwork?

In other words where on the watch is the serial no. engraved, is it where the bracelet joins the case and does each Gen have its own unique serial number.

I got my 14060m (Z serial, so pretty new) for 3100 (usd) and that included PP fees and overnight shipping. There is a number on the paperwork that should match an egraved number right inbetween the lugs...seemed like a good deal since it was practially new (I have since broke it in with many small scratches and dings ).
