freddy333 Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Nice find, Ubi. I hope it will see some wrist time now that you found it.
Utheman Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 If this is another one of your freebies, well, then..... DIBS!!!
vlydog Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 EE6263, essentially untouched aside from a gen T21... Found whilst cleaning stuff out today... wow ubi that's nice! I usually find odd coins and lint.
lanikai Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Oh.. Stop it some More Jus WOW.. really belongs on a wristi !! A~C L
ubiquitous Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 Ehhh... Well, technically, it's not mine. The original owner sent it to me 3 years ago for a potential engine swap. After searching for a viable candidate to install, the owner vacated the watch scene for other hobbies. No address provided to return; emails were answered sporadically at best and then communication drops off... Some day I'll get it back to him. I just don't know when
Watchmeister Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 If this is another one of your freebies, well, then..... DIBS!!! The freebie disappeared years ago. And by the way Ubi, that mystery movement is still operating perfectly.
ubiquitous Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 kruz- I think you have one of the few examples of mystery movements that can go the distance. And, you have one of the original first run DWs as well. That makes it even more rare in it's own right
kbh Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 This is probably a stupid question but what does EE mean? A certain case type?
ubiquitous Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 'EE' is the nomenclature used to identify this particular case/movement/product combo as offered by a specific individual from the old TRC days (ExtraExtra). Not really a dealer per se, but he had insight into certain offerings and made those unique items available to forum members...
kbh Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 OK thanks. You had me looking all over my DW case for a clue.
