I'm still looking for the plexi crystal and the winder rotor .... siiiiigh

luckily it's a front loading washing machine .. no big agitator to crush everything.

The plexi crystal popped out, and the movement exited the front of the watch with the dial. The stem was still in the case body, and re-attaches to the movement securely .. no idea if it's a write-off yet. :black_eye:

Of course you are going to need a plexi but if you have dried the movement out well I think a re-oiling by a watchsmith may be all you need.

BTW your minute hand is bent.

Yeah, I found the plexi .. and the hands are made of very thin gold .. so .. I'm lucky they are not BOTH bent

now to find the winding rotor .....
